Have you spent YEARS trying to improve the way
you eat
but don’t know how to get started or
just can’t seem to stick with it?
Are you tired of worrying whether the food that
you are
eating is having a negative impact on
your health and appearance?
Does the thought of what to make for dinner
every
night overwhelm you?
Are you convinced that “eating healthier” means
a life of
deprivation, featuring only bland &
boring food that
brings you no enjoyment?
If any of these questions have crossed your mind around your diet (and your relationship with your dinner plate), a new meaningful and lasting solution is finally here.
I’m Randy Rabney of The Conscious Plate, and I’m proud to share with you my new Delicious For Life program. It is designed to expertly guide, support, and teach you all the skills and information you need to easily create fast, healthy and delicious meals for yourself and your family on a regular basis!!
Dear Friend,
Humor me for a moment.
I’m curious to know whether or not you’ve been having the same conversation with yourself every day when it comes to what you eat (and how you eat it).
The dialogue might go something like this: “It’s time. Time for me to make a lasting change in the way I eat. I know it’s something I need to do, but in all honesty, I don’t know where to begin (because frankly, eating healthy is super confusing), and even when I try, I never stick with a program.”
Here are some other questions that may be on your mind:
Are you concerned about the impact of the way you eat has on your appearance and health?
Do you believe that changing your eating habits means depriving yourself of the foods (and tastes) you love?
Have you tried to change your diet before and found it just too complicated and undesirable to stick with?
Do you wish that someone could easily show you how to create meals it in a way that wasn’t complicated and doesn’t leave you eating plain grilled chicken and steamed vegetables every day?
There are a lot of people out there who can offer you sound nutritional advice.
There are also a lot of diets that can help you lose some weight.
Odds are you’ve tried some of these diets and maybe found success for a short time.
There also are many good cookbooks and magazines that can give you great recipes. You may have shelves full of them. And if you’re like most people, you’ve never opened them. Or when you do, you discover you don’t have the ingredients you need to make what you’d like so they end up back on the shelf.
There seems to be a clear disconnect between the change that people want to make in their eating and the ability to make it happen. What’s missing is the support required to really create change. A way to create a plan for eating in a way that can realistically be incorporated into your daily life.
If you are like me, you want your food to give you pleasure. Eating great food is a major source of happiness in my life. But it’s also important that the food that I eat supports a healthy lifestyle. If what we consume is making us unhappy about our appearance or causing us to have health concerns, something needs to change.
This leads us to the inevitable questions: How can you learn to make food that supports your health and well being but also tastes delicious (so that you are motivated to actually cook it and eat it)? And how do you cook this food in a way that isn’t too complicated or overwhelming and how do you integrate it into your daily life?
What I’m talking about is creating the kind of change that gets integrated into your life with ease and just become part of your “normal” lifestyle.
It’s my belief that creating the change you want doesn’t have to be that hard, and certainly doesn’t require you to stop eating foods that taste good. It’s why I am proud to present my new program:
Delicious for Life
Your Community for Fast and Healthy Cooking
But first, a little bit about me, Randy Rabney...
I am The Founder of TheConsciousPlate.com. I am a Conscious Food Expert, Teacher and Chef. I am also a working parent so I know what it is like to be busy. Like you, I want to eat well and feed my family well. I also want my food to taste great, and I certainly don’t want to eat the same 2 or 3 meals every night. Most importantly, I want the food I serve to be good for us.
I refuse to eat chicken and steamed vegetables every night.
Here’s what I know:
I know how to make fast, healthy and delicious meals.
I know what is required to make them regularly and effortlessly.
I know how to set up a kitchen so you can work in it efficiently.
I know which ingredients to keep on hand and how to use them to make fast, great tasting and healthy food.
I’ve been doing it for years and can teach you to do it too.
I grew up in NYC and have loved food for as long as I can remember. I have studied food, in one form or another, throughout my entire life. Although raised to be a lawyer, I grew up enjoying cooking and was exposed to all types of great food both in people’s homes and restaurants growing up.
In college I continued to cook although admittedly I was not conscious about the ingredients I used in my meals. I began to eat less red meat, for no other reason than desire, until it was ultimately phased out of my diet altogether. Chicken was sometimes in and sometimes out. Years later, while practicing law, I visited a spa where I discovered a very low, almost no fat diet (all the while still not eating red meat). I enjoyed cooking “spa” food and making it taste good. However, I still was not “conscious” about the ingredients I was using – ingredients that I now know and teach to be critical parts of a healthy diet.
I was eating a lot of processed food (Turns out low fat/fat free diets tend to rely heavily on extra sweeteners, usually white sugar, and refined, processed flours).
Around the winter of 1996, I got really sick with flu like symptoms. And while I began to get better, I never got well. My doctor at that time suggested that I remove wheat from my diet to see if that could be causing my illness. This is when I first made the connection about how what we eat can effect how we feel. After 2-3 days of detoxing and feeling really bad, I became super clear. It was amazing. That was the beginning of my recovery.
I stopped practicing law and went to culinary school at what was then called the Natural Gourmet Cookery School, now known as the Natural Gourmet Institute for Food and Health. This was a revolutionizing education for me, changing the way I think, live, eat, raise my child and view wellness and in some ways, the world. I know that’s intense but it’s true. This is where I learned about the idea of eating foods that are as close to the way nature created them as possible with all of their edible parts (whole foods). I discovered what happens to food when it is processed and what that does to one’s health on a short and long term basis. Shortly after I graduated, I also added high quality red meat back into my diet.
From there, wanting to know more about food and health, I went to the Institute for Integrative Nutrition to study dietary theories and their effects on health, but ultimately recognized that I am at my happiest actually working with and talking about food.
It has become my mission to teach others how to make food delicious and enjoyable - without compromising the nutritional content.
It’s why I started The Conscious Plate.
I know that eating well (and cooking healthy meals
for your family) seems like a challenge.
I know the experience of shopping for food or coming
home tired and feeling as though there is nothing in
the house that is easy to cook.
I also know that the thought of even trying to cook
can be overwhelming to the point of making you want
to give up and just order take out.
You'll learn to make new delicious dishes that are fast,
easy and inexpensive to prepare.
Let’s take a moment though and IMAGINE:
Coming home at the end of the day and quickly and easily creating a meal that you love (and feel good about) eating.
Having your kitchen set up with the right equipment, food items, condiments, herbs and spices to make cooking easy.
Knowing how to shop for ingredients without wasting time in the store and without so much wasted food in your refrigerator.
Knowing how to make several quick meals that you enjoy.
Understanding how to combine the flavors that you love and knowing how to use them in various ways and in different dishes so that you can easily make food that will taste great and allow you to have variety without boredom.
Having the peace of mind that comes from knowing your taking care of your family’s health (and taste buds)
I’m here to tell you that not only is all of this possible, but it's simple. You can become friends with your kitchen. All you need are some basic skills, knowledge and preparation. And I’ve got just the program to help you do it.
I don’t believe that any one diet is right for everyone and the
foods we enjoy (and make us feel our best) may vary based
on where we are in our lives.
I believe that everyone deserves to know what they are
putting into their bodies and how to feed themselves in
a way that makes them happy and nourishes them.
“Before I took a series of classes with Randy, I was resenting how long it took to prep, cook, clean up; and I was also getting bored of our options. My spouse is gluten free, sugar free and mostly dairy free – but I am the primary meal planner – so I was feeling very stressed.
I really enjoyed the classes, learning new recipes, getting to ask Randy and the other participants' questions and cooking tips. It reminded me that this should be fun and not a chore.
As a result, I am trying to be more playful with cooking and just approach it more playfully, cook with fewer ingredients as we spent so much time chopping, and be more open to trying out a new recipe to help with boredom. We have a million cookbooks that have great recipes but I never opened them!”
-Wendy in Maplewood, NJ.
“After our first call, I have lost 3 pounds just by following your suggestions and am SOOOOO much more enjoying my food...Brian is also loving how much I am cooking now...and it is fun! Really, you are a life-changer Randy!!"
Love, Paige

“Before taking classes with Randy, my biggest obstacle was finding more options of meals to feed my family, especially for dinner. My knowledge of preparing chicken, fish and pasta were limited. I had a very good experience working with her. I don't love to cook, but I enjoyed the classes more than I thought I would. I wish I had a passion for cooking. I basically eat to live and I learned how to make meals and snacks (love the kale chips!) in an easy, efficient way. Randy has an easy-going way about her and she is down-to-earth, very relatable. As a result, I don't mind cooking as much as I used to. Also, I am more aware of different ingredients to use while I cook.
My grilled halibut with pureed peas came out excellent the other night! Even my daughter, who told me the puree looked like vomit, liked it.”

About the Cost:
Some of you may be concerned about the investment of time. This program includes many components and many of you are possibly saying, “I already have a busy schedule and don’t see how I can possible add one more thing.” You may also be concerned about the financial investment. Despite the remarkably low price of the course (a bargain considering what you will receive), I know that sometimes it feels like you just don’t have extra money to spend. That is why I intentionally structured the course over a 6 month period to not only make it manageable for you but also to teach you how to ultimately save money on your food.
You’ve probably heard this before, but because it’s true it bears repeating.
You really can’t put a price amount on your health. Quite often we think we are saving money by buying processed foods, but we tend not to think about the long-term effects these foods take on our health. Learning how to take care of yourself now will prevent needless doctor bills and health troubles later.
If you think you don’t have time to take this course.
This course is designed to be done on your own time. I provide you the support you need to implement all the information you’ve learned, plus recipes and information to save you time as you are learning them.
The only time required of you is one 45-minute private call with me (that I promise you’ll grow to love) and a 1-hour group call, which is live, but will be recorded and sent to you. If you’re like most of the people I know, the odds are that you are not as efficient as you could be in terms of shopping and preparing your meals, and this course will help you to make better use of your time in both.
Once you start to learn how to make some various types of meals and understand ingredients and what goes into your food to make it healthier, you’ll be amazed at the change it can make in your life. While some ingredients will cost you more (like wild vs. farmed salmon), some meals will cost you less than you spend now.
"Before my classes with Randy, I felt inadequate in the kitchen, especially with a family full of cooks. After o"nly a one-day intensive with Randy, I hosted a dinner for 8, and I was complimented by the dinner I prepared. When I cook with Randy, I not only learn how to prepare delicious, healthy meals, but I have also become more savvy about understanding where my food comes from and how to be a more conscious consumer. And although Randy takes a holistic approach to cooking, she respects her clients' needs, desires and budgets."
"Working with Randy is relaxing and fun, and extremely productive! I learned how to shop, cook and how to use what I already own in the kitchen. And even though Randy is a master cook with several years of culinary experience, I didn't feel intimidated in asking even basic questions, ranging from cutting techniques to selecting seasonal produce to best preserving food items."

Please note that this program is not for everyone.
While you are highly supported in this program, if you are not willing to take an active role in changing your situation this program is probably not for you. This program offers an opportunity to change the way you think about food and learn the skills required to change the way that you are eating forever. If that is not what you’re ready for, I understand and ask you to please not join this program.
Here’s my Guarantee:
If you take the action steps presented to you over the next 6 months and can honestly tell me that you don’t have the skills to make fast, healthy and delicious meals for yourself, I will continue to work with you until you have those skills provided that you are taking the steps.
Some Final Words:
Since this program is still in its first 6 months, I am still accepting participants at a Charter Membership Price but while the program will continue to exist, this price will not.
This program is your opportunity to finally stop feeling badly about the way you eat. It’s your chance to put an end to the confusion around food and learn the skills and knowledge required to get past the unhappiness and frustration that a lifetime of eating poorly may have wreaked on your life.
By the end of the program you will know how to quickly and easily cook food that you enjoy eating, and more importantly, can feel good about eating.
Doesn’t that sound delicious?
Thanks,
Randy
